DESCRIPTION:Annual City Harvest Food Drive by Friends of Carroll Park. Friends of Carroll Park will be collecting non-perishable items to donate to hungry neighbors through the amazing group City Harvest this holiday season. They will be hosting collection drives on four upcoming Saturdays: January 7 and 14\, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The most needed items are: \n– canned fruit\n– canned vegetables\n– peanut butter (plastic jars)\n– macaroni and cheese (packaged)\n– hot and cold cereal (packaged\, family-sized)\nCity Harvest cannot accept glass containers\, homemade items\, expired food\, or dented cans.\nIf you are interested in volunteering for a shift during this year’s drives\, or if you’d like to coordinate your own ancillary collection at a neighborhood school or business (you can drop your items at the park house and they’ll arrange the pickup from City Harvest)\, please let us know at friendsofcarrollpark@yahoo.com!
