Not only did the Friends of Carroll Gardens Library recently hold their 2012 Love Your Library Day Book Sale, they’ve also given the Cobble Hill Association a big nod of gratitude in their recent newsletter.

Thank you to the Cobble Hill Association – the CHA’s recent $500 grant to the Friends of the Carroll Gardens Library went toward the purchase of a portable PA system.  Before this purchase there was no sound system for music and presentations in the library.  This PA system will allow the library and the Friends group to bring more authors, speakers, music and movies to the library!

Also FYI, the Carroll Gardens Library will be closed for two months this summer due to much-needed roof repairs to our 107 year old building.  The branch will be closed from June 15 through the end of August.
