This year’s Halloween celebration was another reminder of what makes Cobble Hill such a special community. More on our two banner events: Halloween Window Painting & the Halloween Parade below.
8th Annual Cobble Hill Halloween Window Painting
This year’s Halloween Window Painting was another joyful reminder of what makes our community so special. Kids (and a few grown-ups) filled the street with creativity and color, turning local storefronts into a gallery of spooky, silly, and spectacular artwork.
A huge thank you to our incredible partners at Mason Lane Art Advisory for once again organizing and leading the event with such care and creativity. Their team made sure everything ran smoothly, from setup to clean-up. It’s become a wonderful Cobble Hill tradition that kids grow into and then give back to.
And, of course, our gratitude to our local businesses for welcoming all the artists (and their paintbrushes!)—and to Apple Window Cleaning for their generous help washing the windows once Halloween week wrapped up.
Cobble Hill Halloween Parade
Despite a little chill and wind, the turnout was fantastic, and the neighborhood was alive with creativity and joy.
We’re so grateful to all the volunteers who helped decorate Cobble Hill Park, the 76th precinct for keeping the streets safe, and to the always-incredible Brass Queens, who once again kicked off the holiday with music and led our parade through the neighborhood. Special thanks as well to Council Member Shahana Hanif, Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon, and Comptroller Brad Lander for joining our celebration.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who participated — the families, the kids, and the neighbors who make this event truly shine. The costumes were extraordinary, the trick-or-treating was epic, and the sense of community was unmistakable.
